This song has a good style for our sequence because there first section is muffled making it perfect for when it is playing out of the earphone and when it goes normal, it is good for once the shot zooms out and circles the male characters figure.
However, the song lyrics are not very effective as they are unrelated to our narrative.
This song has an eerie feel and an immense build up which is a common convention in thriller sound tracks. It also foreshadows the idea that the "medicine" or drugs the character is being given is causing his life to degrade.
This song implies to the audience that the male character is dead, this will exaggerate the shock when he gasps in the next scene. The style is also quite conventional of thriller films.
This song is bitterly, ironic and fits our sequence perfectly. I plan to have the Unknown figure's shadow completely cover the male character as the words, "we'll be lucky if we ever see the sun," play because it foreshadows to the audience that whoever this figure is, will ruin the male's life and block out all happiness, hope, or 'sunshine'. The line, "the worst is yet to come," also foreshadows that the problem is only just beginning and there is much more negative things to come his way.
