mise-en-scene and planning of Scene 8

Sound
There is no external sound in this scene. However, the main characters breathing will be audible in order to convey is fear to the audience.

Lighting
High-key lighting will be used to make the audience think that the character is safe. This will emphasis the scary parts as they are not expected. The high-key lighting also implies to the audience that this scene is a flashback.

Angles and Positioning
A range of angles will be used to mirror the characters confusion. These will include spinning, panning, tracking and zooming shots.

Costume, Hair and Make Up
The character will be dressed in all grey in order to convey how his identity has been stripped. He will have bruises covering him to show that he was badly hurt.

Props
The room will be as white as possible in order to show how the psychiatrist has stripped the character of his identity.
