These are some clips from the auditions we have held. From these auditions we have decided to call back some candidates for a scripted audition where we will screen test them with our prelim script. The candidates we chose are Jack Ross, Mason Marrable and Yoli Wallbanks. Another candidate that we found particularly effective was Claire Brisbourne but we have wrote her off as a result of her unavailability during many of our planned times. I think that Jack Ross showed great confidence and portrayed his ability to fit into a number of roles, he was also enthusiastic throughout his audition and was happy to retake shots as many times as we asked. Mason Marrable also showed a lot of confidence and enthusiasm during his auditions, he also was easy to work with. Yoli Wallbanks showed a more sophisticated approach and took her audition very seriously. It was clear that she was nervous but I believe that with a script this issue may be resolved.
We plan to call back all three of these candidates as soon as possible to ask them to take part in a second audition where they will use our script to prompt their performances.
