PREFERRED GENRE OF FILM:
My preferred genre of film would be thriller because I think I would be good at creating uncertainty and suspense within a media text.
AREAS OF STRENGTH IN PRACTICAL WORK:
I have not done media studies before so I am unsure of what my strengths will be. However, I am quite creative so I expect that this will benefit my group when planning our text as well as when organising make up and costumes. I also enjoy photography which may make me of use when deciding on camera locations and angles.
AREAS OF STRENGTH IN THEORIES:
As I am studying English, I am successful at writing essays and my analysis is generally good.
AREAS OF IMPROVEMENT IN THEORY WORK:
As I have never studied media before I need to learn the subject jargon and terminology to increase the sophistication of my writing.
KEY SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES YOU WOULD BRING:
I am very hardworking and try to get work done as soon as I can. I think I will be able to keep the group meeting deadlines as well as helping come up with creative and unique ideas.
